COVID-19 Updates

Welcome to week 10, a slighly different landscape to what we were expecting!  Staff have worked hard this week setting up learning platforms in readiness for Alternative Learning should this be required next term.  While it has been challenging at times, it has been exciting and a great opportunity for growth. The creativity of the teachers has been quite inspiring and the plans they have in place for delivering quality education to our students online is nothing but extraordinary.

I will email all families again during the holidays to ensure all children have access to a device at home.  While we are all still unsure what the start of term 2 will look like, I will arrange for devices to be collected form school during week one if needed.  Should a full lock down be put into place, this could happen in a 24 hour window.  Please keep an eye on all our media platforms to make sure you don’t miss any important information.

When school returns, you will notice a few changes around the school that we are very excited about.  Over the holidays we will be concreting the path in the drop off and pick up area, replacing the fence at the front of the school, finishing off the edging around the gardens and starting work on our new Prayer Garden.  Mr Capewell has been working hard on the grounds and has done a tremendous job.  The rain certainly helped to add colour and stimulate growth.  I am really looking forward to seeing it all when it is completed.
