The Colour Run on Friday was exactly what the doctor ordered! The smiling faces (even on the faces of the few reluctant starters) was an absolute delight to see. A huge thank you to Mrs Breakspear and Mr Capewell for getting us up and running and to all staff for making it a great event for their classes. The School Officers were relentless on the colour stations ensuring we were as colourful as could be.
FundraisingAt the moment we have raised $8,200 which is not yet enough to put shade sails over the prep area, playground near the library and the upper school eating area. The more they raise, the better their reward – don’t forget to check these out in the sponsorship form! We have educated students on the dangers of door knocking without adult supervision, and we encourage you to reiterate this at home. On top of raising more money, it’s also safer and easier than doorknocking and you don’t have to worry about handling money!
