Walk Safely to School Day

This Friday 17th May we will join in with Walk Safely to School Day and we encourage all our students to travel actively to school.  Students can meet staff at Zammit Oval or DBay Library at 7:45am and walk to school or families might like to walk together from their own starting point.  This is a great initiative to help students learn how to behave safely and walk sensibly, building on the work we have done with the Redcliffe PCYC in Prep, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Chris Whiting for his support in requesting funding for a Crossing Supervisor for the Thompson Street pedestrian crossing and thanks to Transport and Main Roads for coming out to speak to us about how they can assist us in making our crossing safer.
