Enrolment Application Process

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Christ the King School. Please see the link below to your child's online application for enrolment. You will need to click on the link, enter and review the required details, complete and submit the form.
 
If you are applying for enrolment for more than one student, when the form is completed an option will be available to submit another enrolment for each additional student.

Names are taken as an expression of interest up to three years prior to the anticipated  
enrolment. 
 
All applications for enrolment must be accompanied by a $20.00 non-refundable application fee to cover enrolment administration costs.

For all applications an interview will be held for the family with a member of the school's Administration team. 

Offers of a place will be made in writing.  An offer is deemed to have been confirmed once the Confirmation of Enrolment has been returned to the school and a non refundable enrolment fee of $50 has been paid.  The enrolment fee is deducted from the first term's fees account. 
 
Places will be offered with consideration to the Archdiocese of Brisbane, Catholic  
Education Council Enrolment of Students in Catholic Schools Policy and Brisbane Catholic Education guidelines. 
 
Following the enrolment process, places are offered to:- 

  • Siblings and baptised Catholic children of families who are active members of Burpengary Parish; 
    • Parish Priest may be asked to act as referee for family 
  • Baptised Catholic children of families residing in the Burpengary Parish; 
  • Baptised Catholic children of families who are members of another Parish; 
  • Baptised Children of other Christian faith traditions whose family's value and support the Catholic religious aspect of education. 
  • Children of other Religious traditions whose family values and support the Catholic religious aspect of education. 
  • Children whose families value and support the Catholic religious aspect of education. 

* Order of priority within each of these categories will be at the discretion of the Principal in collaboration with the Parish Priest where appropriate. 


​Enrolm​​ent Process

The enrolment process involves the sharing of information between the family an​​​d the school so that an informed decision can be made about the child's entry into Christ the King Catholic Primary School.

Please call the school to arrange an interview with the Principal once the enrolment form is submitted.  This meeting is a vital part of the information sharing process.

Birth and Baptismal certifica​tes certificates should be emailed or brought into the school office before your interview.​
